DOSHA TEST RESULTS

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Congratulations for taking the Kalsi Ayurveda dosha test! For most people, the dosha quiz is the first step you will take on your Ayurvedic journey, so well done for beginning that voyage today!

There’s always a sense of excitement when you first take a dosha test. It has a similar quality to reading your horoscope, where you’re keen to reach the results page and discover “which dosha you are” or what Ayurveda knows about you. While we appreciate you might be feeling a similar sense of intrigue right now, we just want to take a moment to put the brakes on and move things forward at a much slower pace. You see, Ayurveda is not just a fad, it’s an incredibly powerful science and to really embrace it, you need to dig much deeper and go beyond some quick paragraph that describes you and your dosha in a few sweeping statements.

We are all three doshas.

The first thing you need to know about your dosha test result is that all three doshas exist within you. The doshas are the building blocks for the entire universe and they make up everything (yourself included)! Your recent dosha test results would probably have confirmed this point too. The results should show that all three doshas are there, but in varying proportions and this unique ratio of the doshas is what forms the foundation of your Ayurvedic profile. The vast majority of people will have one dominant dosha that governs over and above the others, while a few of us will have two dominant doshas (dual-doshic) in fairly equal balance and in some rare cases, people will be made up of all three doshas in equal proportion (tri-doshic).

A HOLISTIC VIEW OF YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL

Please take a moment to digest the lesson we shared above, because it's so important if you want to make progress on your Ayurveda journey. There are too many people nowadays who peddle this very simplified version of Ayurveda, which leads people into a false belief that they are only one type of dosha, and it simply isn't true.

Ayurveda views you as being an exact replication of the universe. You are the universe and the universe is you. All things in nature are interconnected and just as the universe is constructed from all the primal elements of earth, air, water, fire and ether... well similarly so is your mind and body.... and that my friends is why you are all the doshas. 😀

So before we proceed any further, please in your mind repeat the following affirmation that...

"I am all the doshas" "I am all the doshas" "I am all the doshas"

I hope this makes sense and you can begin to see yourself in a more wholesome way. Ayurveda is a holistic approach to health and to embrace it we also need to take a holistic view of ourselves.

We will explain later what all of this means for you and how you can use the doshas to treat your imbalances. If you haven't already, then please join the Kalsi Tribe which is our email newsletter and the welcome email series will outline our simple system of Ayurveda to you step-by-step.
